UB to fund new graduate assistant programs

University of Bridgeport is offering 165 new graduate assistantships, each worth more than $5,000 annually, to help students gain valuable research and teaching experience while defraying the cost of their education.

Students applying to graduate-level programs at the Schools of Engineering and Business will be automatically considered for the assistantships, which will be first offered in the 2009 fall semester. (more…)

My 30 days in Osaka University

It was really a wonderful experience of my 30 days study in Osaka University. I want to extend my sincerely thanks to Professor Imoto and Osaka University for give me such a great chance!

Professor Imoto is very kind to me. Although he is busy everyday, he takes care of me carefully on both life and study. On the first day we met, he took me to the cafeteria for lunch and we had a nice talk with each other. Several days later he holds a welcome party for me. I am so grateful! Porf. Imoto’s Lab is very famous around the word for its fruitful research on the field of quantum information Processing. It is my great honor to visit this distinguished lab. During my stay, Prof. Imoto introduced himself and the lab to me in detail, we also communicated with each other on the study of quantum information processing. (more…)
