l      Do women all need to be rescued? What if Prince Charming had never showed up? Would Snow White have slept in that glass coffin forever? Or would she have eventually woken up, spited out the apple, gotten a job with a heath care package and a baby from her local neighborhood sperm bank?”

l      Soul mate, two little words, one big concept. A belief that someone somewhere is holding the key to your heart and your dream house. All you have to do is find them. So where is this person? And if you have someone and it didn’t work out, does that mean they weren’t your soul mates?

l      In a relationship, there is a fine line between pleasure and pain. In fact it is a common belief that a relationship without pain is a relationship not worth having.

l      Relationships, no matter how good, are inevitably a series of compromises. How much ourselves should be willing to sacrifice for the other person before we stopping being ourselves?

l      People say everything happens for a reason. These people are usually women and these women are usually sorting through a breakup. It seems men can get out of a relationship without even a good-bye. But apparently women have to either get married or learn something.

They broke up a lot because of the “intimacy” issue: He has commitment issues; He likes to look at other women; married before; He does not want to take Carrie to see his parents; He does not consider Carrie when he made plans; He told Carrie that he does not want to marry again; Carrie thought she deserved someone who knew she was “the one”.
