Buy new car parts, remanufactured or used?

Friday, September 25th, 2009

Especially since everyone was running minutes financially these days, because all beginners, auto parts, where to buy cheap remanfactured, used items are available. Well, there is no simple answer. My recommendation - it depends on the side of the car it replaces.

If it is a gear or rack and pinion, which DONT rebuilt in most cases, anyway, you really have a choice. It would be wise to consider the history of the rebuilder and the level of processing. A good way to measure the quality of the company is looking for political security.

Other elements, such as suspension hub, struts, shocks, brakes, rotors, etc. always want again. Last thing you want is a spray and pray, and a few hundred dollars in labor plus the cost of reman. / Used to be glued part.

Apply the same philosophy your air conditioned car. The golden rule: You always want to buy new, with warranty, unless a new compressor is not available everywhere and refurbished is the only option.

The same goes for turbochargers and superchargers Buy New -. However, I noticed the quality of the reconstruction improves forced induction parts. Do your research. When in doubt, check your warranty.

At the end of the day, although mechanical, buy new, if not dont bother. Car radios, navigation devices and other internal components may be important, but usually do not stop working your car. In other words, if this is not the drivablity your car, shooting used to reman /. Pass the final script, you need your car to the Commission at the meeting of the company, because running is based on the mistaken party.

What They Don’t Know

OK, blatant self-promotion but I could use the tribe’s help. I have been asked to do a book–kind of a Live Sound 101 deal. I got the idea the other day to hit up some soundco types about the terms we all use daily but that new guys might not understand. You know like when you ask the guy to hand you a stinger and he goes looking for a bee. But it hit me that this is not just about terms. What are the things that you find news guys–who come out of recording school and bypass the school of hard knocks–don’t know that they should. And Do’t worry, I’ll give credit where credit is due.

Talk about car audio of Japan

Monday, August 10th, 2009

It seems not many cars in America are double stacked high. The reason could be that a car stereo stolen recently in the United States varies by region. I had my car stereostolen 5-times. Yes, it is 5 times!

The first time was the day I bought my first car. I have a retreat in energy when the car is parked. I did after that night I went to Westwood and parked behind theFederal Building. After perhaps 100 meters from my car, I remembered I had forgotten to stereo, but I thought, No, it will be alright. Again a few hours later, the car windowshattered Music ido.

The next time is two months later. I have a new stereo to replace. Created each time when we are in public, but each time it is in my garage apartment. … Once was.

After that I had no money to build a new, then we had a boom box in the car. One day, I close the window and it breaks again and the boom box has ido. The police car was overthe alleged that he had clearly tried to steal the car, the steering column is Jack, but for whatever reason just to the boom box.

After my car was stolen. I must again a week later. Less than wheels, seats, oh yes, and stereo. In fact, the only thing that was sad to lose about 36 mix tapes of the last 10 years of my life. I do not think I heard, as most songs. They were all on vinyl, and has too much work to repeat the mix.

I also had a Suzuki Samurai outside once. The stereo comes with him that was like a cheap, only $ 10 stereo. Do not worry, but after about 3 months ago someone stole too.

* North American Car of the Year contender to serve as halo vehicle for maturing Suzuki lineup.
* Chic Kizashi production model to deliver Japanese quality and European flair.
* Kizashi’s exhilarating performance and driving experience reflect Suzuki’s exuberant brand spirit, backed by the confidence of America’s #1 Warranty.

American Suzuki Motor Corp. (ASMC) takes a bold step forward today. “In developing and naming our newest automotive introduction, the Japanese word ‘Kizashi,’ which tells that something great is coming, seemed appropriate for the vehicle,” said Kevin Saito, president, American Suzuki. “Now that the production model Kizashi has arrived, we expect the name and the product itself to clearly demonstrate the bold statement this company knew it would be making with the debut of this vehicle - while also simultaneously suggesting what will emerge in the Suzuki lineup as we look ahead to the future.”Known primarily as a maker of small vehicles and high-performance motorcycles, today marks the global debut of the 2010 Suzuki Kizashi (pronounced “Kee-Zah-Shee”), the company’s first entry into the all-wheel-drive sport sedan segment. Benchmarked against some of the leading cars in the world, the all-new 2010 Kizashi becomes an instant car-of-the-year contender in its own right. With the launch of the Kizashi, Suzuki delivers a unique blend of dynamic performance attributes with premium design aesthetics and craftsmanship yet to be experienced in this category. Scheduled to arrive in North American showrooms this winter, the Kizashi will serve as the company’s flagship vehicle, further expanding and strengthening its current product line of high-quality small cars, trucks and SUVs.
