Saturday, March 6th, 2010

I like many cars that is awesome cars,Now here is one called Honda EV-N that really hot!

I remenber I was saw him 2009:Honda has released the first images of their retro-inspired EV-N Concept. When the curtain rises on the Tokyo Motor Show next month, Honda’s green-themed display will include what it calls the HELLO! Zone, a showcase for electric vehicles. Why “HELLO! Zone”? Well, we have no idea, other than it reminds us of a certain feline and that the Japanese clearly have a thing for all-caps names and exclamation points. In the HELLO!

While details are limited, the concept features replaceable seat fabrics, a solar panel roof, door-mounted U3-X personal mobility devices, and HELLO technology (allows the concept to communicate with other Hondas).

Power comes from a small electric motor, which is connected to an advanced lithium-ion battery pack.Zone, showgoers can say, uh, “hello” to the excruciatingly neat, relentlessly cute EV-N concept.

He is small but Honda EV-N concept is retro-adorable, has unicycle storage.

JFW TYO Japan Fashion Week 2009

January 27th: Snowflakes in the wind today may make you think the pain of winter will never go away! But I saw the hope of spring last night at the Japan Fashion Week in New York Spring 2009 fashion event. Sipping Jacob’s Creek Merlot and nibbling on tasty tidbits from Big Booty Bakery, located just a few blocks away from the Altman Building, where the fashion fest was held, truly gave me some pre-spring smiles. Jose Rojas, Big Booty’s brain, cooked goodies and hired an awesome wait staff that cruised their way through the jam-packed reception area with smiles, patience and good manners. Guest snatched up Jose’s rustic cheese bread stuffed with braised pork leg – my favorite. And for the non meat-eaters he served a fab herbed goat cheese on toast pointes, and other yummies. (more…)

A Korean and American Jazz Excursion: Five Directions

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

Six boundary-breaking musicians from Korea and the United States join forces for this cross-cultural jazz collaboration evoking the origins of the universe, the cosmic balance of yin and yang, and the five elements of creation.

Three leading lights of the New York improv scene—Ned Rothenberg (clarinet, saxophone, and shakuhachi), Erik Friedlander (cello), and Satoshi Takeishi (percussion)—are joined by three Korean musicians—Yoon Jeong Heo (geomungo/zither), Kwon Soon Kang (vocal), and Young Chi Min (daegum/flute and janggo/drum) —for this unique experiment that blends free jazz and traditional Korean music. This concert took place in the Freer Gallery’s Meyer Auditorium on December 9, 2008. (more…)
