Valentine’s Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14. In North America, it is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine’s cards, presenting flowers, or offering confectionery. The holiday is named after two among the numerous Early Christian martyrs named Valentine.

Valentine’s Day celebration has found a new meaning and importance in today’s world. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement through out the world. The day signifies love and its essence. Though people consider it as an exclusive domain of the romantically inclined, but it’s the celebration of all human relation be it family and friends. There are various ways you can celebrate Valentine’s Day. It is not necessary that you have to spend your Valentine with your lover . It can be your mother, brother, sister, son, daughter or your friend anybody can be your Valentine. There is no reason to limit your love. Express your affection for all the important people in your life. Gifts and wishes have almost become indispensable with the celebration of Valentine’s Day. Gifts are the best way to express your emotions. Cards and flowers are all time favorite gift items for this special day. Flowers can be any type and color depending on the choice of the person whom you are gifting. A simple, yet spectacular bunch of red tulips or her favorite flowers can be a wonderful gift. Even a bunch of long stem red roses will also do. It is not necessary to gift flowers only to your girl friend or boy friend it can be anyone you like.

Though you should love humanity 365 days a year but there is nothing wrong if you mark a special day for it. What is wrong if you are clearly limiting it to your gf or bf.
