I had seen the old movie Rashomon directed by the famousJapanese director , Kurosawa Akira a few years ago.At that time,I was concerned about the art or technology of film photograpy. And thetheory was illustrated by this movie. From this,we can see the importantposition it held.

Simultaneously, We should know that the film was adaptedfrom the fiction of the same title written by Akira Kurosawa .The novel and his writer became more famous because of thegreat success of the film.For me,I got familiar with the writer throughthe movie too.

For a long time,even now ,we student graduating from or majoring inscience are almost entirely uninterested in the literature. We don’t havethe patience to finish the lengthy novel in domistic language, let alonethe Japanese fiction. But today in the library,I found a book called Rashomon writen by Akira Kurosawa just beside my seat.It can’t be called coincidence for the nothing in the world is coincidenceand they have been prearranged or predisposed by the nature orso-called God. So,I spent almost the whole morning to finished it and gota general cognition.

His novels always take the technique of explaining or narratingthe same thing from different men’s angles in completelydifferenct ways.And it always hit or lash (flog strike)thecontravention(contradiction)and weakness of humanity. I wasshocked by the first story. It tells that there is a old temple calledRashomon where the dead body without name or families wereabandoned here in the turmoil of war. A mansuffering hungry and poverty came here to shelter from the rain,and just to find that a old urgly woman was plucking hair fromthe cadaver. He was so angry about her ruthless behavior anddrew out his sword ,decided to kill her for punish. But afterhe saw the trepidation of the woman he gave up the idea.Eventual, the woman said she was struggling for life by doing thisand the master of the dead body she pulling hair from had been doingthe same thing as she did now . The man who were almost hungry to die,heared this,just robbed all of her clothes and ran away.

It’s hard to say whether he did the right thing.For you ,will you do the same thing when you are hungry to die?I am not sure about myself.
