The Four New York Single Women

Once upon a time, on a small island not too far away, there lived four smart, beautiful women who were all very good friends……They like to meet in a coffee shop to talk about men. When it came to their love lives, it seemed that they could never agree on anything. They debated a wide variety of hot topics: marriage, divorce, pregnancy, honesty, fidelity, compatibility, and commitment.

Two of them are blondes, one brunette and one redhair.

Miranda and Samantha are the more masculine characters; Carrie and Charlotte are the more feminine.

The four women have dated, tried to date and refused to date quite a few Manhattan men in this show. As Miranda put it, “Who would have thought an island so small could hold all of our boyfriends?” (By the way, half of them are Samantha’s )

Did they find their Happily- Ever-After in the end? Actually, from the first episode, we have been told, in New York, there is no such a thing called Happily-Ever-After. But whatever lies ahead, the four women will always have each other, and they will always have New York.

But the four women have one thing in common: none of them had found Mr. Right.

Charlotte: “I hate it when you’re the only single person at a dinner party and they all look like you’re a ….”
Carrie: “Loser?”
Miranda: “Leper!”
Samantha: “Whore!”
