New York City—the city itself is one of the main characters in the show

Part of the reason I love the show is because it’s a story about the city . I am a huge City-Lover and urban girl. I love all the big and global cities in the world, NYC, London, LA, Paris, Berlin, Toronto, Beijing, Shanghai, HK….so I love those movies or TV shows that really tell the stories of a city. New York City is always so glamorous to me, the lights, the skyscrapers, the central park, the Time Square, the fashion show, the theatres, the people on the streets….everything is really charming and exciting to me. I really love any piece of it. I wish to visit there someday.

New York City is a place where the strangest sorts of people have a way of coming together. Where people get around in small yellow buggies(the cab), go to delis at four in the morning, drink pink cocktails, and run into exes(ex-bfs/ex-gfs) when they least want to see them. A city of towering heels and nerves of steel, so bold and alive that no matter what day of the week it is, there’ s always a party somewhere. An island with so many single guys that you can find a “man” right insight its name.

In New York City, you walk out the door and you do not know what is going to happen. There’s such potential for poetry.
Fashion—the real main character of the show !!

—Manolo Blahnik (Shoes)—90% of shoes Carrie wore in the show are Manolo Blahnik. Sex and the City and Sara Jessica Parker had done great advertising for this shoe brand and they even made a shoe named SJP to thank Parker.

—Dolce & Gabbana(clothes)—The one wants Carrie to be the model on a fashion show, in the end let her wear a diamond underwear.

—Fendi(bag)—80%of Carrie’s bags in the show are Fendi’s.

—Birkin Bag : Samantha wanted to buy it by using Lucy Liu’s name. In real life, it indeed cost about as much as a small car! The line for it is years long! I can’t believe why women want the bag that much! You can find a same size , much better looking bag anywhere at any price, why that one? I may never understand that…

—The Nameplate Necklace: Carrie’s fav necklace that has her name on.
