Carl’s Cousin’s wedding!

The weather was awful today. It rained almost all day. At times it was heavy rain. It was a very miserable day indeed.

Today was a special day. I bought a new dress especially although I ended up not weraing it because the weather was so bad. I was invited by Carl’s family to his Cousin’s wedding. Hayley’s dress was so beautiful. The party was very good too. Carl and I were just invited to the evening party. There were lots of people there. It was a ver good evening.

Unfortunately, the worst thing about the day happened before the party. It was on the way there. We were waiting for a cab outside Purkey. We waited about fourty-five minutes. Then a car came along and asked for Carol which Carl suspected was an error so Carl phoned the cab firm again. They said he was not on the list. Carl complained enforcably. They said a car would come on its way. Then when it finally came, the driver asked for directions. Carl demanded he stopped and let us out. It was disgusting! Fifty minutes for a cab that didn’t know where it was going. After Carl phoned the cab company to complain, Carl managed to get the number of another cab firm through directory enquiries. Carl phoned up and we waited no nmoore than ten minutes. That cab came all the way from Coulsdon! Just shows what a rubbish cab firm Purley Cars is yet apparently they have one-hundred and twenty drivers! So never ask them for a cab. You will probably die during the long wait.
