The Comment for the Film《Rain Man》

After I saw the film called《Rain Man》，My heart is touched deeply. The film not only expresses the brotherly love ,but also the fatherly love is present.Love is all around in the film.

In the film ,although the rain man has mental illness,he is so humour and clever that you almost forget he is a patient.He is sensitive for numbers and has superb talent in gambling.He successfully won a lot of money in Las Vegas depending on this to pay his brother’debts.When the brothers are in the airport,the rain man refused to travel by plane in order to guarantee his brother Charlie’ safe. When they are in hotel, the rain man Raymond said “ Don’t scald the baby” again and again.Though the rain man was forsaked by his family when he was very young, his fate is so tragic and unjust,his moves conveyed unlimited love to his brother.

In the film,Charlie’s love to his brother is developing as time goes.At first he is a very selfish man,and he is only concern about how much legacy he can inherit from his father. When he heard that his father left $3,000,000 for his brother he has never seen,Charlie in his situation decides to take rain man Raymond away from the medical institution he was left in, and goes on a huge road trip,not willing to give his brother up unless the institutes settles his share of his father’s legacy.On the trip,he feel a deep love from his brother ,and he was moved .Facing his brother rain man’ departure, he expressed a strong feeling of being reluctant to part.To respect his brother’ decision and also for his health,he let his brother go.

At the last camera lens of the film,Charlie had no choice but to agree the rain man’leaving.At first,I feel a pity as there is no final result in the film.How about the two brothers’ fate?Will they be together?But finally I sense that the final result is pregnant with meaning.

Dustin Hoffman played very well in the film, he played the role who has intelligence defect so penetrating that you may doubt whether he is a patient in real life.Tom gruise played also well in the film.He is so handsome that attracts a lot of young girls.
It is a emotional,funny,unforgettable movie,and it is also a feel-good movie.I like it so much.I’ve never seen a more deserved Oscar win.
