Nowdays , more and more people have a high requestment for living environment.

Living in the city, air pollution is a serious problem. There is a lot of smog in big cities. Sometimes the air is too filthy to breathe. It is a hazard to everyone.the roads are too crowded to drive along. Besides congesting the cities, heavy traffic also pollutes the air and affects health.Cars are involved in more than half the disabling accidents.

Well, most people tend to live in apartment buildings. It is not so easy for them to keep in close touch with their neighbours as when they live in traditional Chinese countryards.
Of coures, there some advantages for people living in city:better transportation and shopping facilities.More cinemas and theatres,and quick and conveninet access to information.
Then u also should considerof the disadvantage: overcrowding, bad air and noise, higher living costs, and traffic congestion.

So  i think the young could choose the city life and  the old and children could choose the town.
