It seems that quality assessment has been a part of many fields including the territory of education. I got to know what it was like since last semester when i got very high marks and i didn’t realize the importance of it at that time though i was moved by some of the remarks made by the students. This is the second time for me to  get to know it now. It is not bad on the whole but i was furious about the one relating to Intermediate Interpretation Course. It is said that for optional courses the teacher can relax as neither the students nor the teachers pay enough attention to them. As a new comer, i take everything seriously and took a lot of efforts into this course and spent much time preparing for it. My course was welcomed by many students, which made me happy. However, the other day when i chatted with one of the colleagues, she told me that she was worried about the quality assessment from the optional course as the students knew their marks before making the evaluation, which was very unfair and made me worried, too. Tonight, when i checked this, i found the result for the optional course:0.947, much lower than 0.968 and 0.981 for listening and comprehensive English respectively. I was unhappy for a while but nothing can be done. Anyway, this should not be the standard for me to judge the teaching:)  Fighting!
